The first thing is they should make it a run threw taking place in several diferent climates. 2 they should bring back the predator. I say this because riping people apart with your bare hands is fun. 3 they need more weapons and traps. add new weapons like ones that shoot around corners and add traps like prosimity mines, mines and natural traps like in farcry 1. Have more vehicles to use. Don't just make up weapon stats find out there capabilities and make them accordanly. It is like the gernades now 2 hits to kill ha ha no way in hell and a saw that fires several times too slow. so please check the stats of any gun from the army and do not just make your own. Also do not spend too much time on the champain it dose not make the game good the multiplayer and map editor do.
For the Multiplayer i would like to see as Minium of 30 players. Have all guns from the story and not just some. have custom classes and not predetermined classes. make ammo flags diamond ladders without hot keys instead make automatic in order to reduce the y glict like in farcry 2. have more vehicle and more spread out not just in one area. also have weapons in addition to the ammo piles so level ones can get a better weapon or others can switch weapons for a more suited one for the map. also make enemy weapons able to be picked up and if you have the same weapon you get more ammo. no spawn shields. custom charaters not based off class. For map editor one try having a two disc game one for multiplayer and campain and one for editor it is only a few more bucks to do it. have more types of buildings. have more nick nacs like toilets, sinks, trash cans, computers, labtops, tv's, radios, tredmills, toys, drinks, friges and so on. Have cutom poster that you chose the writing. Have differnt types of walls, doors, floors, stairs and cellings: wood, plaster, steal, stone, concrete, straw, tin. also make destructable wall sections and pre destroyed. also make all buildings custum and add a builing edit tool so you can add a walls floors stairs or a hole to the original building and so that when you use the original edit tool the whole building moves as one and you do not have to reconnect wall and floors also have it where all floors delet the earth and plants beneth them so you do not have plants and eath in the homes like in hill sides or anywhere for that fact and have bottoms on all objects. make more destructable objects. also have all non destructable and solid non transparant or see threw object that have some a good size have occlusion blocks that go under the entire surface of the objects. Also make it to were walls can be snaped on top of walls. have more types of fort pieces. have more types of vehicles such as: tanks, cars, motorcycles, fourwheelers, buggies, trucks, jeeps, vans, helicopters, marine boats, assult boats, waverunners and so on. Have a 100 spawn points for every game mode and team. for stationary vehicles have some like battleships with useable guns. This message has been edited. Last edited by: bep450, |

what the hell I'll bite into this (even though there is an official one somwhere). I'm only going to focous on MP, the map editor, and community interface.
MP - more game modes, for example, assualt, survial, king of the hill, VIP, maybe even the mission mode from red steel (I maybe the only person here that knows what that is) - alow for weapon pickups, from players and have weapon spawns. - Instead of diamonds (or whatever you use for levels) unlocking guns have it unlock equipment and abilities, for example, body armor, extra ammo, extra speed (at the cost of ammo or health), faster reload, ect. The catch would be each ability would cost x diamonds (different for each one) and you could only equip so many diamonds, this allows for a more complex and dynamic setup syetem than anything being used in FPS now, good example of this in an RPG is the EX Skill system in Tales of Symphonia. - give us an idividual character that we can customize. - customizable game modes, look at any Halo game for what I mean here. Map Editor - more objects, and I don't just mean more objects from the SP game. I can't count the times that all I wanted was a flat non beat-up metal sheet when making a map. - Water options, I'm being realistic here I'm not talking about multiple levels of water but instead the type of water. Tropical, muddy, river also be able to set a directional flow, waves, or still. - Bottoms to objects, you know like the colonial fence. - I'm still trying to figure out the memory storage system for the objects on the maps, but this system may work better. *warning coder gibberish ahead* basicly every object can be represented by the following an integer for object class, integer for object within the class, 3 double floating points for location (X,Y, and Z axis location), and 3 double floating points for angle (X,Y, and Z rotation). This system cuts down one memory usage drasticly, if I'm right in assuming that the map file describes every part of every object instead of just refrencing the object from file and building from there for each player. - Save object groups for latter use. Basicly select a group of objects that you can save out as a custom object. - Triggers this maybe the big make or break for me on an FC3 if it happens, I want moveable objects, doors, and traps that I can make that can be activated by the player with simple if then staements, and personally I would like to see the following options: move object, move player (teleport so what it's not realistic), remove object, and add object at the very least. Community Interface I'm talking about the connection between the game and this site. Currently the only game that I know of that does this well is Halo. - Give us a capture image/ video option (talking console) with the ability to load to our ubi profile. - Allow the console players to type in a location the degrees that you want to rotate the object like the PC side. - take a page from Bungies book give everyone 25 MB of space for free, but they can pay 400 microsoft points to get 250 MB (I think that's what Bungie does for Halo 3) - Get rid of the star ranking sytem for maps and replace it with something much simpler (and harder to abuses) a 2 option system. This is pretty easy after you play on a map the game ask if you would reccomend the map if yes the map gets a reccomendation point if not it dosen't, when showing this just show the percentage that reccomend it though; no downloads or number of recommended points just number of plays and percentage reccomened. - Don't do a Ubi reccomended list or a ranked list, but if you do flat out say how the process works and when we should see updates to EVERYONE not just a handful at a certain site that I won't mention. - Get a dev Q and A going on once in a while in game or in here. I know Ubi is wants to make money and trust me when I say the average game looks down on a Ubi game because they feel that they just don't get updated, a dev talking about whats going on can actual soothe the masses on this one, which makes the core gameer happy and then they recommended the game to thier friends, I'm sorry it's basiclly saying good customer service can make up for a broken product (hell people by Macs). - run an offical contest every now and then map making or in game tornament. Put up some minor swag and even more people will jump in, just try not to allow judges to enter like some of the constest from other fan sites. That's just a small list by the way, I could go on for pages on things that I would like to see. Thraxus |

thanks for saying something about armor and individual charaters. also with map editor there should be a tool to set water level at different hight levels for ponds and puddles in roads. also go back to farcry 1 and use the water repeater because the cut off area were the water stops is realy stupid and ruins map ideas. also get rid of the vanishing point for any object you can hide behind and for small cubic foot boxes make the vansing point at least a 200 yard or further.
Also with map editor make it to where if you want to publish a map you have to agree if it is chosen for ranked that any glitch in the map can be fixed without your permission. Last is once a map get 500 or so votes they would look at it for rankable. It would have to be 2 sided, nice looking, and be playable. if it failed it would have to be redone before it could be voted for ranked. If the vote was positive the the map would go under testing and have all glitches repaired before releasing it. This message has been edited. Last edited by: bep450, |

That would be a good thing to do but there are a hell of a lot of mappers out there all making extremely good fair sided maps, I myself can think of a good amount. But just imagine how many maps there would be up for ranked. If a map like mine can get to 300+ downloads in two days then i think 500votes is a little low. Perhaps 2-5 thousand perhaps?? i know its a little high but it would cut the number of maps ubi would have to look at and it would also show which are the most popular played maps at that time. And to add animations into the map editor would be cool as i can think of a map (Oil Arsenic) where this would look cool, i also like the idea of booby traps. I would like it if they would do like map editor add ons with the odd new one now and again. This way they'll make some $£$£$'s and keep us happy. But they should chuck some freebie ones at us for the compensation i deserve for having to sit here with no effin xbox live for what feels like a lifetime!! Sort it out ffs.
