The map takes place in and around a Planetary Defense Weapon. The weapon in the background is in the raised/firing position. Hopefully there is not to much lag in this map but no promises, there is a lot going on in the center of the map.

The Base. tunnels/trenches and ramps connect the bases to central structure.
Heat shroud at center of structure contains opposing circulation ramps.
Mikk Q is known for his architecture, and Im pretty confident it would play well, although I have not played any of his maps. I never see bad reviews though.
most of mikk's maps play very well most of the time. guess that also kinda depends on the host and everyones connection. it still amazes me how you can cram all that suff onto a map with the object limitations mikk. guess i have another map to add to the harddrive. and probably see this on ubi recommended next week. lol

This map has been recently republished with most of the lag eliminated. xNJxMFmassacre played around with the occlusion blocks (lowered sky and added perimeter) then I did some fine tuning (thicker blocks in conc ring). There are still a couple spots with minor frame rate problems but it should not effect gameplay. Thanks massacre for bringing this one back to life.
note: The cliff side structures are the bases of THE CORE (AEGIS CORE).
