Map Name - Rocky Riot Format - PS3 Modes Supported - All Modes Players Recommended - 4-10 Map Size - Small Gamer Tag - Fallen Champ - Sizzling Sar With Rocky Riot I wanted to make a map that was very fast paced and easily accessible, I started off with the large Natural Looking rocks - by placing some on their side and sinking them down into the ground I got a nice effect so I added other sized rocks to these and formed the main layout. Another aim I had with this map is for the boats to be used, the vehicles in FC2 aren’t the best but I felt I could really make these boats become a must in this map depending on which mode you choose. With CTD you can take one of the 2 boats from each base and drive half way around the island to the enemy’s base where you can jump out and run up the slope to steal their diamond from inside the hut. You than have the option to use the boat again, go the direct route down the middle or take one of the side routes; as yet I have not tested this theory but please let me know if the boats are useful. Another mode which might use boats is Uprising; I placed one of the stations out at sea on a tiny piece of land away from the main Island. The idea is that you drive the captain by boat to this Island, by exiting the boat you can defend the captain while he takes the station, then the captain returns to the Island and you wait and protect this station. There is a large gun that should blow any boats out of the water if they try to take this station – so your only worry is a sniper. I thought it would be fun having boats hurtling towards you as you take pot shots at them in the style of a turkey shoot. Some of the buildings are destructible; the best one is the bridge in Uprising which forces players around the back to use a ladder after the bridge is gone. There are some small custom buildings and other areas that will blow apart when hit with the right weapon – so I can guarantee some explosive stuff. The accessible part is in the way the rocks are, there are so many areas where you can get a height advantage if you explore, there are different routes and options available to the player & the map size is on the small to medium side so this is a run and gun style map in its construction. It is early days so far – only played one match in this which I did badly in, but one guy got over 40 kills in the same time so I guess it works for some players. This message has been edited.
