I was on and off FarCry a few times today and realized that when I went into Approved for Ranked that the Ubi Recommended list was the same as the Approved for Ranked list. I was just wondering what was going on, and whether my game is flipping out on me or something.
Also does anyone else long for more approved for ranked maps, I mean not to downgrade anything anyone else has made, but I noticed recently no one hardly even plays Approved for ranked user created maps, I don't know why, and won't draw conclusions.
Well, UBI just stoped make any recommendation. You can still find comprehensive list of all recommendations HERE or read smth about in other threads like this http://forums.ubi.com/eve/foru...1037696/m/9351092837 but you cant expect any further recommendation at all, because they just dont care about it. It is of course a big shame, but what you can expect when there is no single words from developers about much more important things like patch for Win7 or so one....
actually, the fact there is a problem may mean they are working on something. (well, better to not expect anything anyway)
queenvixen : actually a few approved for ranked maps get played. pinnacle, renavista, sometimes motaba creek, and more rarely fatalitrees. looks like far cry palace and watchfire don't get played. (at least not in friendly matchmaking) and apparently mike g live and death weaponxx are still the 2 most famous mapper
Fauch, I can explain whyWatchfire isn't played. It isn't played, cause clearly it isn't on the Approved for Ranked list. I took it off. Therefore, nobody plays it.
Nah Fauch. Everyone had a stronger lead in downloads. Dave had like 3000, everyone had 4 digits, I started with 227 downloads. I wasn't well known, still am not. Doesn't mean you need to constantly put my map down. Just because you like to think your maps are the greatest things to grace this world. When we say anything bad you flip out, just like on my FCS site.
