I am having problems downloading maps and searching for them. I was trying to check out crazyuncledave's map spherikill and it kept telling me there's a problem with farcry 2 server and now i cant get a search at all it says "Error trying to search for maps: problem with the farcry 2 server."

anyone else getting this or is it just me??

UBi-soft help Since Monday 6/29/09 xbox360 I am also experiencing a server problem I just finished new map [Lost City ] or [ LOST CITY test ]. I have tried to host a multiplayer match and about 7 people have tried to download the map - the download almost completes and then kicks the player out of the lobby -[when i published the maps, the publish was successful, Lost City was the first and Lost City test is the second attempt to go into the editor and try to resolve anything that might have caused a bug in the map, both failed to be downloaded and played. Both maps passed validation on every level, performance is acceptable, resources are below 40,000 and I have run multiple test single player LAN sessions with these maps and they work, all previous maps I have published were successful but this - I think there is a bug in the server >?

Now, that is a serious crime, WH1T3W1D0W. No one should EVER have trouble downloading my maps!

Seriously, though, I have also had trouble every now and then with the servers. In fact, yesterday I got a couple of error messages, but a little later I was able to download maps. So hopefully it's a short-term problem for you.

You know, I just had a guy give me that hardest time over in the PC Discussion forums, about that very thing. He swore up and down the servers were fine, even though hours later was when he checked and it was most likely what you said- just a momentary failure. It happens with this game now and then, but I hope it works itself out for ya.

Ye it lasted a few days i managed to download a couple of maps last night so i guess it was just a little glitch or something but all is good now.

I can check out that spherikill now lol i seen the map pic and it looks crazy!!
