Isnt funny how we can't find anywhere the maps they made in the editor in the trailers anywhere. Where is my Eiffel tower and floating island map? Are you lying to us Ubisoft? Shame on you! If this where medieval times your castle would have been pillaged and burned down by now, get your stuff together guys, I mean you already have our money wth. Also the recommended maps that Ubisoft recommend looks like my 8 year old brother made them. It's a Far Cry from what they advertised weeks before its release.. pardon my pun.

Well, the Eiffel Tower Map was a test by one of the developers to show the community what they could make if they really wanted to. They never said that the map would be in the game but we do encourage people to try and make unusual maps that even the developers did not expect. Since it is early days for Far Cry 2, it does mean that the maps that initially appear won't be the best ones. As soon as people upload their own creations, then the quality will start to be recommended, since it is the players that vote the best maps.

I forgot one HUGE thing aside from an SDK... the View Distance needs to be better. I make a small Fort and on either side I have a watch tower with some mounted .50 Cals and viewing from opposing sides you cannot see the tripods and some other items as well arent viewed from that great of a distance.
Most of your guys default maps have greater distance then mine and never once did I see things vanishing on me the reappear when I got closer or scoped in.

Hello everyone [360/PS3] I also would hope that lights, if possible, could be added to the map editor. Some maps I made were meant to be night maps, but they don't look so good without lighting. I heard the PC version editor has lights, so maybe they removed things from the console for a reason. I do not know if that is the case, but lights would be a very nice addition.

To go along with this, the ability to group these objects together, so you don't have to select each individual piece to to move the thing you've built. and definitely some sort of custom inventory for those grouped objects that you create, that you have access to from any map you create.
