I am sorely tempted to start over and just follow a walkthrough step by step.
This Dream puzzle has got to be the most tedious time-waster. The only thing more frustrating was the first Mangree puzzle, before I got the "feel" for the timing. But here, I know what I need to do, but it will take trial and error movement to do it. Arghhh!
If you are in the first part of the puzzle, remove everything from the chess game and add the first piece of conversation to it. Then, add the second piece and the third (only three are required on that one).
I did the chess game, and I thought I did the next one (Revelation logo, door to linking chamber) but apparently it wasn't right.
That's when I decided it's too tedious to go back and forth, swinging around and losing the order, getting the order reversed because I forgot I can't just move past one when I don't want to do a drop off - arghh! I say again!
Jeez, Lyn. By the time you finish this game, i think you will be the most articulate reviewer of what happens where and why. (Look out XCV.... you might have to extend past those initial monosyllabic answers
I think it would be interesting if you posted an overall review in the spoiler section, Lyn....
*IF* not *when* (I finish) is now the operative word.
Back when I was still exploring new worlds, I would have been playing the game every night, even if I had only 15 minutes. Now, in the middle of this (next to) last tedious puzzle, I seem to be procrastinating as much as I can. I'm just not excited about finishing, I guess, since "beating the game" is not my approach.
Next up is RealMyst. I hear Rime is now part of the game, so I'll get to see it, not just watch Atrus disappear to it.
