When I found out that there are ways to ensure that you are assigned a certain spirit guide, I wanted to try my hand at delivering a spore and a drop of firedew (I had been assigned a water guide so I had already delivered a bubble). But I just haven't been able to motivate myself to play through another game of Revelation yet.
Maybe I need to move on. Is there pretty much a consensus that it's better to play the Uru Chronicles next, since End of Ages *is* the end of ages? [I still have to play Real Myst too.] |

Chronologically, End of Ages happens after Uru.

IMHO Uru: The Complete Chronicles is amazing. It's vast, gorgeous, and very compelling. It's also very difficult. Having to run and jump to solve some of the puzzles is "new" relative to the earlier Myst games, but doable. The real time 3-D gameplay is great. I particularly liked being able to see any given scene in either first or third person. I miss being able to play Uru on my Mac, but wifey has a PC, and I get to use it occasionally.
I would recommend Uru next, before Myst V, just to keep everything in story order. ------------------------------------------- Fear leads to anger; anger leads to hate; hate leads to SUFFERING! - Yoda |
