Hello community,

it have been a while since the ModChanger for SHoWW2 was released.
As Faces of War was released I wanted to make the ModChanger available for FoW too.
Unfortunately I had no time for this project.
So I decided to simply patch the ModChanger for Faces of War purpose.

And here it is, grab it from my homepage @ http://www.beiheringzuheim.de.vu/
There is also a FAQ to read.

It's up to you whether you will use the ModChanger or not.
But if you do, please give me feedback, whether it works or not.

It's a tool for Faces of War too, which is doing the same like the ingame Options -> Mods stuff.

Just go on my site -> Projects -> ModChanger and read about it.

hmm.. i must say that i dont see any real use for this. After all it is as easy to change mods in game.

It's useful when you are working with editor and need to swap a mod off or on, you don't need to start up the game etc.

Other useful thing is that you can already switch the mod you want to play on before you start the game

yes, and if only one guy is using this tool, so the spent time for this work was worth it

Brathering, thanks a lot man! that must have taken some time! great work.

Very good program, very usefull, no more having to waste time going in to FoW and waiting for it to switch mods after playing a game with people and want to mod or the other way around.

brathering since im downloading this and i saw the pic atthe site can you tell me where u got some of the mods? (band of brothers mod?)

Yes, the tool looks similar for both games (SHoWW2 && FoW) so I put a pic of SHoWW2 on the page as sample only.

INFO:
- fowModChanger, a "Mod Activation Tool" for FoW.
- This tool allows to activate/deactivate mods from outside the game.
- Use on own risk.


HowTo:
- Choose a Player-Profile from the menu.
- Below there are two lists of not selected and selected mods.
- Click on a mod and a short Info-Text about it appears at the bottom.
- To change the selection mark a mod and click on one of the two Arrow-Buttons.
- The mods will be shifted to the right or to the left.
- After the Mod-Selection is ready click the Apply-Button to save all changes to the Profile-Configuration.
- And exit the program.
