In general, I'm trying to fix up this between-battles screen. At the moment, I'm just busy though, so it may be a while before the next release.
By the way, I just noticed that I've apparently been modding this game since 2004 (when it was SHOWW2). Yikes! |

Somethings I don't understand or don't seem to be working.
1. Can't removed equipment (De-select units tanks/jeeps/trucks/etc.) after mission, only infantry units. 2. Captured Equipment, sometimes it shows up in the next mission, sometimes they don't? 3. After three missions, I try to buy new units and receive the message max of 7 units? Problem is I can't de-select current units. 4. After playing 3 missions as the US starting June 12,1943 the map has been the same for each mission. Request: Please make the amount of spending adjustable and not limit it to just 50 points. I would like to create my starting force with a Tank. All the tanks cost more than 50 points when playing US Forces. |

I must say after playing the campaign Generator, it's great. I wish the developers would get behide this add some additional features and add it to an expansion pack with more maps.

I agree, I don't understand why a randomized campaign isn't a requirement in EVERY game, but especially in a game like this. |

A simple update allowing only one objective on each map and the ability to pick the ai's troops would be nice Also, not having the player's units start out charging And finally, there are still some bugs with removing teams from the roster |

Still playing this mod more than the main game and can't wait for the next installment. I have encountered a strange problem though, I have the ammo/fuel set to True (by ticking the box in settings) but when I play the game ammo is not being depleted? Any ideas? Thanks SL |

BrotherJayne: Fixing that objective thing is a very high priority for me; I may do it the way you suggest if I can't think of something else. I just finished setting up a new machine after losing a hard drive and some other problems. I'll try to put in some time on it this weekend...

Encountered a problem now...
aargh...nothing happends when I start the campaign...nothing...no enemies..no friendlies...nothing.... I wanted to try another side, I first had UK, then I wanted to try German side...I exited (without saving for the UK side because I didn't want to continue on that side) and exited the game...then i closed the "battle preparations" screen...then the tada sound came.... I continued on my path...I selected my side as German and enemy as UK...just swapped between the slots you can say...then I pressed "Create new campaign" I started the game and the campaign again...and....nothing happends when it has loaded...nothing... I tried the UK side again..but that didn't work either... What have I done wrong? what must I do so it works again? Thanks Stuntman Best Regards Stuntman 92% of teens have moved onto rap. Am not using any other 'mods' as such with yours but I have altered loads of stuff to make the game run more to my liking (usual stuff like weapon performances, breed types, equipment loadouts, portraits, squad types and members). None of my changes should affect ammo usage though, so you are probably right, that one of the changes I have made is somehow incompatable. I will have to do some backtracking. Regards SL |

Which vehicle is a rearm vehicle for all the sides?
Or can't you buy rearm vehicles in the battle preparations screen? If you cant buy rearm vehicles, I strongly recommend that you include rearm vehicles in the next patch, that would be extremely helpful... Best Regards Stuntman 92% of teens have moved onto rap. Stuntmanknut: music is determined in the mission file, I think. I simply didn't add any, but it could be added.
I can't tell what the problem you describe is. Did it work fine until you switched sides? (Switching sides normally doesn't cause a problem.) The best way to rearm is to remove everything from your inventory before you save and start a new battle. Then your unit will be rearmed with its default loadout. This doesn't work for fuel, though. You need to get fuel cans from the unarmed trucks and refuel in the game. Eventually, I'd like to include rearming in the between-mission screen, but that won't be soon because it's a pretty big task... |

Hmm, Im reading these posts about purchasing units? I can't seem to do this? What am I missing? Where do I buy them?
Quite a nice mod! Shame the units always charge the enemy at the start, otherwise the mod is pretty damn good. I'm playing this more than the silly campaign missions. Edit: Nevermind, found the Beta 2 link somewhere in this thread. Could you update the main post with this link? |
