Well couple things i would like to see on the list:


-abillity for host to arrange the sides in pre-game mp setup.
-abillity for server admins to adjust the prepare time in frontline mode.
-Abillity for server admin to abandon mp
game load if one of the clients is not responding in pregame loading screen.
-In frontline mode, the game should go through server "lobby" so that any dropped players can rejoin or be filled before going to the second phase.

Nothing on that list about improvement of FPS in SP on systems that greatly exceed the recommended specs. FPS seems to dip dramatically during physics based events and can be repeated across a number of machines at the same point in many missions eg. Remagen Bridge. Is it just a case of better optimisation of the code or does something else need to be fixed ?

Also when hosting be able to change map or game type on the fly rather than closing room selecting map re-openeing room, its just a pain.

Interface (multiplayer)

I agree on the grenade issue. I ask a soldier to attack an enemy, he switches to grenade, and because all this takes time they normally are dead!

Why do they switch to grenades so often when the enemy are so near?

Yes, I want a fix for the grenade issue too, but... Everybody likes the way that mines are planted?

I think that the waypoints mode in Soldiers was a lot better, because you say the exactly points where you want the mines, and the distribution of them.

Just my point...

The way mine planting is right now is awesome! I NEVER used mines in Soldiers because it took too long to make any kind of effective minefield. I only wish when the mine team was done planting mines, instead of just standing there with whatever mines they had left in their hands that they would switch to GUNS!!

The actually way is perfect if you have a nice bunch of mines, like the mine team in MP, but if you only have a few, you need to laid the mines carefully in especific zones...

Actually, the soldier starts planting 2 lines of mines until he reach the point. If he only have 3 mines, he will put a square of mines leaving big space in a road, for example. Do you know what I am trying to say?

Am I correct in assuming this means that those shells will now be able to take down buildings in 1 or 2 hits? Because yeah its annoying when you hit a building with a dozen and it just has a few cracks.

With this option, can you make it so that we can remove these vehicles from the list too? I can forsee the list becoming huge and cluttered up with half-broken vehicles.

what i missed in soldiers and also in fow is that the soldiers dont follow your aimpoint in direct control

wouldnt it be better and smoother if soldiers and tanks follow the aim point ?

How much (prosentually) is made from the patch?

I'm just curious, becouse the earliest possibility for me to get the game is on monday (some problems with the importer they said in the shop) so maybe I can straight go to the patched version and don't need to encounter any bugs, glitches, stupid scripts etc.

And thank you for great demos (almost no lag for me tough Big Grin)

In game Movies, you lose control and focus of your active units when an event (objective, etc.) triggers an in game movie. The game should pause and force you to click to continue, and keep the focus on the active unit. I have lost several missions because I lost focus and control of active units enguaged in combat when an game movie event is triggered. This problem also exists in SHOWII.

I can put up with almost everything although improvements are obviously welcome Smile but this framerate issue is really bad, i've not tried multi yet but single player as soon as anything starts going on it jerks about and is quite hard to play.
The demo was as smooth as silk and the recent other game Company of Heroes i can run at max detail with AA and AF so what has gone wrong here ??

ATI 1900XTX
2GB Ram
X-Fi xTreme Music
Latest drivers for all blah blah blah..

Sorry for bad english.
I think the best way to make the game playable is to add a button, where i can choose

  • to play the game with all the reinforcements/allied (thats the current gameplay -> FOW)
  • to play the game with only my team (taktical gameplay -> SHOWWII)


@UBI: why we got no answers in the german forum? Mad Mad
