Whenever i install faces of war it dosent work, because my direct 3D isnt on there, when the game starts the screen will say " Direct3d not installed" and i found out that direct 3d is off my cpu and i dont know how to get it on there, do i download it somewhere? please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks for anyones help.

I used to have it on all my games and it worked, but now it disapeared from my computer files, and it is not installing, I cant play any games anymore, because Directx 3d isnt one there, do you know where i can download it, or any other way i can get my directx3d back? |

What you need to do is check your status of DirectX first.
DirectX is part of Windows. Do you have XP or Vista? I'm not familiar with Vista. If you have XP you can go to Start/ Run and type in the box dxdiag then click ok. A series of test with run and will show you if your having problems with DirectX. You might need to update directX if it has problems. Or you might only need to update your video drivers. You get directx directly from the microsoft website. I'm by no means an expert with this stuff, but I'll try to help the best I can. |

Yes i did go to run and type in dixdiag and it say "Direct3D is not functionally availiable. |

I went to the website and installed it, but its still said i didnt have direct3D, maybe i need a new video card or maybe i need to call dell support. |
