About the update of tutorial: Yes, I promised it and I will do it. But it can take a few months as others things must be done first with higher priority. I hope you understand it!

Already posted this tho the Question thread, but here goes: My question is about the editor. I'm making my map and after I placed my minimap.dds file into the E:\Games\Faces of War\resource\map\desert folder, my screen looks like this.Any help would be appriciated what to do now. My camera settings are (from up to down) 1200, 750, 32 & 60. And the other thing is that even when I'm not in the Clip editor I can still see the yellow, blue, green and violet lines. Help?

Hi Kontrol, I don't see the problem at the moment, please specify it. Delete the editor_desktop in your profile folder and lines will be away. visit us below, I'm more active there:

Well, if you look at the building and the man at the corner, you can see that they are "streched". Example: When the guy should look like this <->, he looks like this <--->
Look at the picture carefully and you'll notice.

The blue/green/purple lines... that's a bug. At first I wanted to know how to turn that ON. Then I realized, if you go to Clip editor, then quit the editor & restart, the lines will always be on no matter what mode you're in. Like Instinct said, you may want to delete your editor preferences in your mydocuments/mygames/fow/profile directory. In the screencap it looks like you have "fisheye" mode on? Doolittle

Indeed I had. But I got rid of it by deleting the file you already mentioned. All credit to Instinct who helped me with this problem

Go to your maindirectory of FoW and start the .exe manually there.

Ok now i have my own probs. I loaded up the editor and it looked pretty simple, compared to UnrealEd anyway. But i can't figure out how to move my view. I pressed F3 for the mission editor and moved like that...was very hard . Then i pressed F2 to get back to creating my map and the view change. After that i could'nt move myself on the minimap. Another problem i have is how do you create whole buildings and why do buildings and objects look invisible!? I would appreciate help. Thanx

first set your camera limits in mapeditor, by doubleclicking on auto, than deactivate camera limitation in F2. F3 press alt+f Select the names of the buildings instead opening the folders.
