I tried reinstalling after a hard drive reformat (nasty virus) but that's another story. I loaded my store bought disc. Patched with the latest patch, dl'ed both GWX and SH3 Commander.Along with the file to run sh3 commander w/ gwx 3.0. I load a new career, select my crew and upon entering mission it locks at 95 percent. (The bar that loads progress) I looked on the boards and found a similiar problem but I run Windows xp not vista. The game ran great before the hard drive reformat and don't understand why I am having problems now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated I'm jonesing to play.

Did you install anything else besides GWX and SH3 Cmdr ?

Are you using an existing career, or did you start a new one ?

How long did you wait the game to load? The loading bar stops at 95% and it still may take a minute or two to switch to the command room screen. I guess you compare the loading time with your previous installation, but there may be some differences.

Did you install the 32 bit XP version?
Did you run the windows update?
Do you remember any tweaks for swapfile or anti-aliasing in your last installation?
Did you run GWX before?
Did you update your drivers?

Yes with GWX the load time is a bit longer once the bar stops moving at 95%.
