Yeah, he did make things interesting for the Cubs this year, since they weren't going anywhere this year anyhow.

Right, when spring comes the hope is renewed.

I would think that the 'experts' are going to have to pick the Cubs to be the front runner again for next year. The Reds have improved somewhat, but the Brewers appear to be in decline. I doubt we will be able to resign Holliday, and Pineiro is sure to leave.

The so-called experts picked the Cubs this year and looked what happened.

True, but you would still be the most loaded team entering next year. Unless we land Holliday, they would have to pick you. Also, my pc shot craps and I'm sending this from the library, so it is going to be a couple of weeks of this before hp fixes mine. I had to buy a new monitor yesterday and the pc won't reboot, so it looks like it was at least the video card that was bad.
