Installed GRAW2 with the 1.05 patch and all the latest drivers and it crashes all the time can't even get through the first mission. (it will just freeze) specs below please help

I suspect that drivers got corrupted when you installed graw 2 or after patching it... it usually happens.

Another thing I can think is that you are having some sort of heat issues with the GTX. I know, I know, you can play any of the other games, right? well... we're not comparing apples to apples here!

Before telling you to do anything, why don't you give us the blow by blow of what you did before and after the installation to see if we can see something that you're not.

Thanks! It was just that simple. I reinstalled the graphics drivers and it's running like new

No GTX heat problems here... I installed the ZALMAN RHS88 with the VF1000 & she runs fairly cool for a 8800

After I thought all was well I started getting in-game crashes sometimes it would just freeze about 5 to 10 mins after I started the game other times I would get BOSD. I'M using Nivida driver 175.16 and The X-Fi driver 2.15.0006.

I tried everything I read on this forum to get this game to work with no luck until I disabled the "Voice quotes" option in the Game settings. Now it runs smooth as a whistle with all settings on High.

I didn't see this fix in anything I read and thoutht it might help others that are trying to run GRAW2 In Vista Ultimate 64bit.
