Last week I bought myself the original Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for PC, and I run home to install it. Installation works fine, and I also apply the 1.35 patch. But when I come ingame it gets kinda buggy. If I even try to open the "Options" menu the game crashes to desktop. I can play like singleplayer and maybe multiplayer but then with wrong graphics settings and standard keys and such.
I have now uninstalled the game and the patch and woner if anyone have a method to get it working?
My specs are: Asus Maximus Formula Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 overclocked to 3,0GHz 4096GB of DDR2 ram running at 1066MHz Asus EN9800GX2 overclocked to 721/1802/2192 Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit
Hi. Have you tried playing it with your videocard downclocked (to stock values)? When I tried playing GRAW -not GRAW2- in the past on a Vista32bit, it could not handle my (modest) videocard overclock settings. I had to set them back a lot...
I'm having a similar problem with Vista 32 bit. The game worked perfectly fine on my laptop (Windows XP) and then I decided to get a computer set up for gaming and GRAW crashes every so often, freezing my computer.
blade-bunny: We just got Vista also. I was told there was not a UBI patch, but someone mentioned to try the forum and thought there may be a download out there, by someone else. I haven't found it yet, but if you do, please send me a e-mail mdidpe@msn.com Thanks
