Hey guys,,
I got a new LCD monitor and now my game wont work. So I figured I needed to re install the game and same thing.
This is what I get

Crash in application version: 30621.2989

Could not load texture because IDirect3D9::CreateTexture call failed.
This device does not support the queried technique.

Renderer: normal
Physics : threaded

My rig checks out when I do a Material Detection newest drivers and all that. Is there an old registry or profiles folder that was left behind thats causing the game to not recocnize my new monitor?,,what am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt the addition of an LCD Monitor would cause your game to stop working, more than likely, it was just a matter of adding your LCD to the video settings on your desktop and/or uninstalling and re installing a fresh copy of video drivers... you may want to try that.

Now that you have reinstalled the game, you may need to do that again, run a copy of a good registry cleaner and install again.

I would uninstall both the video drivers and game, restart my pc in Safe mode, run registry cleaner there, make sure there is no GRAW folder under Program files, restart again, install fresh copy of video drivers (latst from Mfr's website) and then reinstall your game.

Thanks for your help there Snipe, I was under the impression that there is a folder not in the program files that held the profile of your rig for the game. Thats why I thought by adding the new monitor without getting rid of said folder there was a conflict. Ill give what you said a try, thanks again.
