I've developed a brand new problem with this game *sigh*
At first the issue was that some screens were WAY to dark to be playable and and WAY too light for night vision to work. This was only with certain maps (timber, storm, and castle to name a few). I rectified this by holding my statistics key down while playing...most annoying but worked for play (kind of). I finally decided to bite the bullet and uninstalled the game and cleaned my registry, restarted the computer and started from scratch. The game installed ok and when it loaded, it did the auto-patch thing....here's where the problems intensify. I went on to the first favorite server I could find and everything looked all right until the actual game play. Hostage was up and my screen was really dark (was never dark on this map before) and the same problem with the screen being just too bright for night vision. I continued on to another server and Sierra was up...same problem here but it was playable with night vision. So now I've got multiple lighting issues. I'm not sure if this is an issue with certain maps having faulty compiling or just my settings...I'm inclined to believe the latter but I have no idea what setting to change if this is the case (brightness is maxed). It's only certain maps, remember, and doesn't affect the menu screens or anything...just the actual gameplay on certain maps. I've researched this on multiple forums, finding no issue that quite compares and UBI support is virtually non-existant. Anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same problem, running SLI 8800GTs.

Im on the map where I have to destroy the ground AA, and the moon is so bright that everything is pretty much whited out, and shadows are pitch black. I am just noticing it because I switched computers and brought my save files with me, so this is the first time running GRAW on the newer machine. Tried turning down graphics options with no effect.
