My friend and I play coop mode over the internet. We can get a game started every one time out of three on average.
When I start the game and he does not join the game a player Brown shows up in his place. It seems like some maps are worse than others. Anyone else getting this problem. Sometimes the odds of getting connected is much worse the one third. Last night we tried to connect and failed 7 times in a row. DMZ is open and the firewall is off. |

Hi you really dont need to turn off your DMZ its not safe to do this.
Make sure your game is patched and read the above links to find connection issues there are plenty of answers above. |

Everyone else has connection issues in co-op too boss.
I rarely get to finish a map with 2 players before it disco's. Get 4 players and it becomes laughable how fast one drops out. During the connection phase, if one of you fails to join, I seem to remember that we used to reset the server. This isn't a networking issue at your end. This problem occours on LAN or over the internet. I've tried it with 8 diffrent PC's. The results each time the same. There are no settings you can change to cure it. The same identical problem was also found in GRAW, this games predecessor. It's a known bug and isn't going to be fixed. In the end I managed to play through all the missions 2 player. But it was a very frustrating process. |
