Hi, can anyone please help here. I can access the server list on Gamespy (as comes with the game) but cannot actually join any of the listed servers - I get as far as the "connecting to server" screen message, but then nothing further happens.

I can set up my own multiplayer game no probs but cannot connect to others. I've tried switching my firewall off (standard Windows SP2) but to no avail.

If the server I'm trying to join has a password, I get as far as the password request, but then the screen returns to "connecting to server" and so it goes on. I am aware that in some servers you need the appropriate mods, but this isn't the problem here as I get that message.

Horribly confused and frustrated - please help!!!

Sorry to say that the reason for the post was due to the fact that I was unable to find a solution on the forum and have searched.

Again if anyone can help with advice please let me know... Looked into connections, pc settings, and reloaded the game several times....
