What are your system specs?

You probably need to update to a better video card.

Come on, fix the darn Rate of Fire issue that you "claim" to have fixed!!! Nothing was done except to take away the work-around to this problem!!! Now there is absolutely no way to switch to single rate of fire when it locks on as multiple without causing the application to crash!

It would seem that ever since I updated to the most recent patch I have been experiencing far more frequent CTDs. For instance, every time I attempt to enter the undergound bunker in "Welcome to Juarez" I get this:

Crash in application version: 30899.3048

data\lib\units\types\weapons\multigrenadeweapon.dsf(-1): cant find member: player_data in type <void>

Renderer: normal
Physics : threaded

...not to mention seveal Access Violation crashes.

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ ~2.4Mhz
WinXP Home SP2
ASUS EN8800GTX GPU Forceware 169.21
SoundBlaster Audigy 4
2048GB RAM (DDR2)
Running on a "Clean Boot"
Current Drivers

What does it take to get a simeple answer from UBI about the PC? If you guys think the Vegas 2 forums are crowded with hate & Negative posts from the PS3 and the few 360 folks, wait until the PC game is launched... Wink2

ms-kleaneasy has alrady stated in other posts (ghostrecon.net) that there will not be a GRAW3.

Besides, I wouldn't waste my time giving ideas to people who wouldn't know what to do with them anyway.

But I would like to know if GRAW2 is going to continue to recieve patches. Or not.

You are correct. There is nothing in development.

But I would like to know if GRAW2 is going to continue to recieve patches. Or not.

As of now we still do not have an answer for you but believe me you'll be the first to know.

I thought you were 16 actually Want2Snipe! Veryhappy
And in answer to your question, as soon as there is a solution to your problems we will have an anwer. If we were to tell you something was coming at ___ time and it was late or never came wouldn't you be really angry. I would. As soon as there is a solution we are told and pass on the information to you a.s.a.p. We also communicated what is need back up so your concerns and issues are heard. Thumbs Up

I am going on record that the two new weapons introduced were the biggest disappointment of the patch for me.

As a certified gun nut I absolutely loved the attention to detail the weapons in GRAW 2 PC had. Each gun was extremely well modelled and animated. So much so that I condsider the originaly GRAW 2 weapons to be the most realistec ever in a video game. Sure, some had a few flaws, but overall they were better than anything previously, including GRAW 1.

However, when I installed the DLC with the M1014 and M240 I was excited to play the levels with them. I did have my doubts about their appropriateness given the theme of the team in the game but I put that aside and gave them a whirl.

First, the M1014, while at least decently modeled, has one of the worst reload animations ever. The shotgun is semi-automatic. Yet, if you fire all your shells and reload, no animation shows your operative cycling the bolt on the shotgun to chamber a new round. Instead, 7 shells are loaded into the tube and instantly you can start blasting away. I know, this is a small thing, but when all the original weapons were so well done you can see how this ones stands out.

Secondly, the M240, while well modeled and nicely animated, also does not finish the reloading animation with a cycling of the bolt like the other belt-fed weapons in the game. Also, teh M240 does not fit with the type of guns in the game as most HSLD soldiers would opt for the M249 Para or other lighter configuration. If there needs to me a .308 belt-fed weapon, may I suggest the FN MK48? I don't know that I've ever seen a photo of a soldier in a HSLD unit carrying a M240. I'm not saying it cant' be done, it just doesn't fit well with the game IMO.

However, I am of the opinion that the more options availavle the better the overall game.

I just wish the new content was held to the same standard as the original content.
