Sorry Colin, have read the threads, watched the video, tried other places for walkthroughs on mission 8 - guardrail 9- but simply can't get through the objective. I have played it countless times, nearly succeeded, but in the end - DEAD. Guess I'm not smart enough. Tried many tactics. Is there any advice on how to tackle this objective?

Guardrail? is that GRAW I or II... sorry, can't remember.

Hi Colin. I'm playing graw 1, mission 8, and the objective is guardrail 9. I manage all the rebels around the perimeter, and can take out the machine gun above the one on the flat roof. This leaves me with 2 machine guns left (one looking straight down the road, one on the flat roof above), the two guys in the middle of the open space, and one in the tower in the railyard. Tried different approaches, but this is the closest I get. These are the only ones left alive. Any suggestions? Thanks for the reply.

WHEW - played all day today and FINALLY blew up the tower!!!!! Now only have to endure for extraction. This is a tough game, and the guardrail was the hardest objective. I hope the rest aren't as hard!

Good job, it can be hard low and slow is the key really.

HAI I HAVE A PROBLEM WHIT MISSION 8 AT THE SQUARE WHIT THE MASHINEGUN OP THE RIGHT CONNER AND YOU HAVE TO DEFEND THEN AFTER YOU HAVE ATCHIVED THIS YOU GANE CONTROLE OVER A DROME A TANK AND YOU HAVE TO BLOW UP THE CHOPPER WHIT A BAZOUKA AFTER THIS YOU HAVE TO EXTRAXKT TO THE CHOPPER .
NO PROBLEM FOR ME BUT MY TEAMMEMBERS AL 3 ARN'T COMMING AND I AM WHATING FOR EVER SO CAN SOME BODY HELP ME OUT OR IS IT A MELFUNCTION OF THE GAME????

i have a problem and that's for wone i have dexlectie so sorry some times for my bad spelling.

i am stuk at mission08_checkpoint4_1dsl i start at the point whit the tank you go true a small street to a square.
there you have to hold possion ,
you go to the left up to a small street you almost walk op to the bulding.
where a chopper toke off in this building there are stares to the roof
and you shoot the chopper out of the sky
youre resque chopper arrives and you have to go down and will find 3 guards who you shoot down
the i go to the chopper en enter the chopper but nothing happens even when i give the orders for gohst team to go to extracktion point that's the chopper where i am at.

so who can help me out?

@ WIJGMANR:
Highlight the Ghost Team (or the individual team-mates) icon button on the Cross-Coms support list, point your crosshair at the Blackhawk, click Mouse#2 (wheel), scroll down, select and activate the "Use" order. Then watch them...unless there is a glitch the AI should all board the chopper. You should also be able to accomplish this by just issuing the "Follow" command.

BTW: I would not be able to communicate at all on a Dutch-centric site...don't worry about it
