Hello all,
I'm trying GRAW(1) Multiplayer for the first time, and I'm having a bit of trouble logging in to gamespy. (On PC) I've got a gamespy account, but I always log in with my email address. I can't seem to figure out exactly how to log in through the GRAW console. Any tips? P.S. -- Sidenote, I've visitedgamespy.com and am currently logged in, but I can't seem to find a "control panel" of any sort to find out what my actual login name is, along with trying to change passwords, etc... Thank you for any help! Reed |

Okay, thanks!
So I created a new login, signed in, and updated the server list. Had trouble finding a server I could play. Each one needed me to download a particular map. I downloaded a couple - to which I supposed to restart the game to play. I closed down the game, and upon restart I received this error -- Crash in application version: grpcrc1.35 Archive: :checked_read() Attempt to read past end of archive 'custom_levels\omaha beach.bundle' Obviously, one of the multiplayer servers I tried to enter had me download the omaha beach.bundle. So I went into the custom levels folder, but there was nothing listed in the folder, except a generic text file that states this is the folder where custom levels will be placed, etc... Uggh. I've restarted the game, and the computer several times, and I keep receiving this crash since trying to download a couple multiplayer games. The game has ran flawlessly in single player mode up until this point. I'm using Vista 32 bit, 2.6 CoreDuo, 2 gigs ram, etc... Any thoughts?? |

I haven't seen a Omaha Beach map bundle yet (that's not to say it doesn't exist)...I do remember it from OGR. What map were you attempting to play when the CIA error came up?
You can download a good number of maps here or here. I haven't seen any one site that has them all but most of them can be found at these two sites (the maps that most servers are running anyway). The Omaha Beach error is pretty odd. Make sure you put all your downloaded bundles into the custom_levels folder before you start your game. |
