i installed the game and when i stard my first mision evry thing is black so i thought its my copie but i download the demo to see if it was black to and yes it was what to do ? her is a pic press the link

Yep...98% chance he's a 5xxx card user(or lower. We can't forget lower).

Why would it make it go all black like that?

Go to your game folder \Data\Settings\renderer_settings.xml edit it until you find good settings for your card.

Hello All.
Just searching the forum and found this post. I last night got the exact same thing however mine only happens every now and again (like every couple of minutes of game play) My system: OS: Vista 64 Home Premium CPU: AMD64x2 6000+ RAM: 4gb GPU: Geforce 8600GTX HDD: 500gb MOBO: Gigabyte SP As you can see I totally meet the requirements. Any ideas? |

If you guys think the Vegas 2 forums are crowded with hate & Negative posts from the PS3 and the few 360 folks, wait until the PC game is launched...  |

Ok, Ill try download driver updates. Are you talking about video drivers?
They should be upto date as the system is brand new and been setup less than 2 or 3 months. As for heat, its well ventalated and again brand new so it shouldnt be over heating. |

Yes video drivers is what I am talking about, you should also try to get a fresh update of your sound drivers while you are at it. You probably built the computer 2 or 3 months ago but I am betting the video card you got was built about a year or so ago and the CD with the drivers could be that old... you must remember that ---------------- 0 ----------------- 0------------- What does it take to get a simeple answer from UBI about the PC? Haha yeah good point.
Crazy thing is I dont know how this happened but I wouldn be that stupid haha, I looked at my video driver and for some reason the Winxpsp2 Edition was installed, it must have automatically installed that one from the cd. So ive installed the vista 64bit edition now, so hopefully that will solve my problem. Cheers |

This problem is with GRAW & not GRAW 2, correct? if so, I remember that GRAW 1 had major issues with Vista and in some maps it just wouldn't want to run it. If this is for GRAW 2... I'm stumped!!!

Yeah its GRAW 1. Havnt got round to buying GRAW 2 yet as I havnt clocked 1 lol.
Oh cr*p stupid vista lol. So was there ever a fix for it? |

If I remember correctly... NO, but since I don't have Vista (nor I ever will since XP SP3 is out), I didn't follow up on it.
