Hello all. I am having a bit of a problem which i dont know how to fix. During mission 4 after exploding the first bunker the game crashes with an error message. I believe that it is crashing when trying to save my game after the bunker explodes. I have emailed tech support and so far the default mail in return had no effect on this. I have searched the forums for this problem and found only 1 post with someone having the same issue and no replies. Can someone please help me fix this? Heres the error message. It happens without fail every time at this point in the game.

Some of the things i have tried are

coolbits trick
reinstall everything
turning sound card down to standard
playing with graphic setting in game (runs fine)
everything on the default support email

I can already tell that the support email process might get me nowhere fast by reading posts about crashes here.

Can someone tell me what this error message might mean and a solution for it please?

apevia case (runs very cool) 1 rr 120mm, 1 top 80mm, 1 fr 80mm and an air duct for the cpu.

Well ive searched in the quick.bundle and Patch.bundle and i cant find any dsf files (i wonder what they are?

But a quick search shows that many are having the same problems as you but no solution.
A workaround could be to get saved checkpoints and continue from there.
You might run into trouble at the "bulldog" mission too it seems

have you tried playing the game w/o the GFX card being overcloaked? just an option as it seems there is no solution to it. is your hardware all update with the latest drivers? Windows updates? if so, maybe try reinstalling the hardware drivers, closing all background processes that don't need to be there?

as for everything being up 2 date...yes.
this is a brand new pc also, i have tried reseating all my hardware as well. i have no problems running doom or WoW or EvE online or rct3 or CoV all on max settings. graw is the only game giving me fits and only in this one mission. i can play multiplayer graw on the same map and no problems.

my vid card is FACTORY overclocked with a huge fan and is also running very cool with no signs of overheating. since its factory overclocked i dare not underclock it as it might void my warranty? anyway i think the vid card is fine cause i have no problems running other power hungry games.

i also want to add that my system went through several burn in and benchmarks without problem. i have tested all parts of this system and it holds up fine under severe load for 48 hours.

someone on another thread was able to tell the person what the error message ment. i was wondering if anyone knows what this error message means?

oops did i mention that i installed graw on my wifes pc and i get the same error at the same mission? imho this rules out hardware problems or driver issues.

That would suggest ther is something wrong with your disk? but that would cause GRAW to not-install, or it is a cheap copy which wasn't controlled..... (I do not say it is you, could be the hardware-peeps that give away the free disk)

That may only work if the save game is in the same patch version as you are playing on, I could send you my old savegames pre 1.21 but you wouldn't be helped with that. I play MP all the time....

Aye im going to need a .35 save. Support is trying to tell me my soundcard drivers are out of date and thats the problem. They said not to use the update tool that came with my card. Thing is even a manual search on creatives website yeilds zero results as well. I have searched for updates in the past without any luck.

I dont think that this is a sound driver issue at all.

Same issue here with the bunker crash, not to mention the time between game saves are a pain in the butt and have to be replayed about 30-50 times.

Hmmm, is this issue ever going to be resolved, or are they just focusing on GRAW 2 now!!!
