Well the only thing that has been getting me to visit these forums recently has been Colin's posts and appeals for help from the community. I'm very sorry to learn that you will not be serving that role for the community anymore. You have certainly done a great job to help the community voice its opinions and stay focused on important and long term issues.

My hope is that this just means we will see more of you over at other forums that we all know you frequent. An when you want that old-school GR experience, do not hesitate to stop the Alpha Squad forums and server, we are still doing our best to keep the roots of the games we like well tended.

You know it occurs to me that there's now been more games in this series that a lot of the fans/fanboys weren't really onboard with than there ever were of the original series.

Does this mean that I am going to have lock horns with Mrs Kleaneasy now?... that´s just not fair game Colin

Sorry to hear you're going. I cannot imagine anyone trying harder to be fair, helpful, sensible, professional than you have tried; in fact, your posts are the only ones I read here. Sad... Thanks for all your efforts, no matter they fall on deaf ears as per Ubi's listening, at least you have tried for us.
