in the short time that I visit this forum I realized: wow, this is a cool guy! always admired your helpfulness, patience and your style. I'm confident that you won't 'disappear' completely from here.. All the Best to you and your family!

Likewise - one of the most level-headed, reasonable, patient and helpful moderators I've come across.
Its a sad day when a game drives away people of this calibre.
I hate posts like this, for various reasons. The frustration level is high for all involved, and has been for awhile now, so you come to expect to see them...but not this one. This one is different.
You have your own reasons for this so I won't ask you to reconsider, much as I'd like to.
See you on the boards Colin. ____ @All:Ubisoft has lost a valuable asset, one that will prove difficult to replace.

Take care buddy... I remember when you where a nub. Your not the first (by a long shot)and won't be the last.... sad, sad state of affairs. Once again, take care.
Every single praise to Colin in this thread is well deserved. He managed to turn this forum from a total mess into something useful. His replacement has a tough act to follow.
He also worked very hard to provide Ubisoft with constructive criticism. To provide feedback from the community.
And now he's leaving. So am I. While my departure is hardly the loss to the community that his leaving is, I just don't see any point in hanging around here any more, waiting for the classic Ghost Recon that will never be again.

PS: Ubisoft may have dropped the ball, but the tactical shooter genre is far from dead. Just ask Blackfoot Studios. Colin did...
