Hey there

I got a problem with my game hanging and stopping completly after I finish the last checkpoint and enter the APC after Ready for Bear. It happens every time, no exception.

For the record, i've updated my drivers, I reinstalled the game (twice) and tried replaying the entire mission, same result..

Any ideas?

Just to post an update..

I've reinstalled the game and installed every single patch after turn as suggested in another thread.. Will try to do the entire mission over again and see if that helps ><

let me know if you fixed it because i have the exact same problem...thanks in advance

Sorry to disappoint you, what I'm trying now is to replay all the misssions -.-

Got past mission 1 and 2 without problems, but when I was loading mission 3 it started to hang up again. Will try to press the coninue mission button later on, but not sure if it will help

not cool... been playing this game for a month and not this bs. anyways, please post of you figure it out and i'll do the same. any other tips would be greatly appre.

Yeah, you are right, its not cool at all.. its still hanging, either if I press the continue button or whatever..

Been looking at other unofficial forums as well but no answer there either. I dont know if it helps that I tell you that I play on windows vista.. And yes, the game is run as administrator

I'm sorry guys.. You must be thinking that nobody's interested in your problem(..?)
But it's just that I don't have any usable answer.
I'm sure you've tried searching with the 'find'-button on top of the page.. Some ppl there talk about deleting the last save - or all saves.. in that mission, before re-playing. Others talk about a 'mission unlocker' (a cheat), but I don't know about that..(how it works, I mean).
I had a hang-up too in that mission -in the past. But no solution.. just playing from that last save again and again.. until it worked.
After that, I made sure to be well in the 'next mission' before exit-ing.
I hope you'll get past this point.

and they'd be correct into thinking that, at least, when it comes getting help from UBI. I am sure they will come here to tell you that there is a link you can follow to open up a ticket with the Technical support group... good luck with that.

I never had that problem happened to me so I can't help you there.

Think about this little quirks you are having next time you plan on buying another UBI title or search the forums before purchasing... it will not only save you money but a little grief too.

thanks for the heads up...i found other forums and should have started there because it looks like this is definitely not a new issue...crazy. This is the first game I've bought since Bond on 64 and am bummed.

Anyways I now have a bigger problem and could use advice. I cant even open the game and I'm not sure if it is my computer or the game. When I open the game I get "please insert the original disk instead of a backup (1000)" and then a link to a solution that did not help. This would always happen but after 2-5 tries it would start. Now I cant even play multiplayer...any ideas would be greatly appreciated

About the Insert CD issue, i believe there is some other threads about that.

Back on topic, i've tried deleting the files, reinstalling the game, playing on another profile, the game still hangs, and not just on the last mission, but now on the third mission start.

I guess there isnt any solution other than try till it works, although it isnt an optimal solution -.-

Having exactly the same problem as you guys. Tried playing from the last save over a dozen times with no luck. Also tried reinstalling the 1.35 patch but that didn't help either.

Previous missions had hung up on me before but when I restarted the game and continued it would at least start from the next mission.

If I continue after it freezes here though it starts Mission 2 again...!?

Really frustrated with this game. For all the great things in it it's totally undermined by all the bugs.
