I am running a geforce FX5200 128mb and unable to run the game. Before i upgrade, can anyone advise if GRAW2 will run on the AGP versions of the GeForce 7600GT, the GeForce 7300GT, GeForce 7950GT? What about the GS versions of the same?
My PC spec: Win XP SP2 on Pentium 4 @ 3Ghz and 1Gb RAM. MoBo is Gygabite 865PE...yes i still use an AGP 8x slot...

and the 7950GT would be the best of those you listed. Though I didnt know they made one for AGP...

My recommendation? (for whatever is worth!)...

Even though the game will play with the 7950GT (AGP??), you'll find yourself strangleholding your Ram, CPU and even GPU with this game and any other recent game out there. Aside from the fact that you will have to play it at the lowest resolution and even with everything else on LOW and/or OFF.

If that's how you roll, then, by all means go for it. I used to play the games like that because I couldn't afford anything else until I got smart and figured a way to buy my own components and build me a decent rig for the same money DELL, HO-Compaq, Gateway, etc, etc, wanted for their so called middle-end gaming rigs.

So, here's my recommendation... hold off on buying games for a bit, save all the money you can, hit hardforum.com (this will help you decided on what components to buy if you are new at computers), pricegrabber.com (compare prices between components and different stores at the same time).

Cheers everyone, many thanks for your help. Santa was kind enough to give me the game, but he forgot to include an upgarde for my machine as well.
As i'm not an hardcore player, i believe the 7950GT 512Mb AGP 8x will do well, even for my other games: Splinter Cell and CMR Rally 2005.
