Hi I am getting this message when i try to play.

Crash in application version: 29980.2562

GRAW2 requires an up to date version of Ageia PhysX and associated DLLs. Please install latest PhysX runtime.

The ageia install failed and it does when i download new version from their website.

I have tried all updates to game

Here is my system specs:

Sony Vaio VGN-FE41Z
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200, 2.00GHz
Memory - 2GB/Go DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MBMo) (667MHz)
HDD - 200GB/Go
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 GPU Approx total memory 392mb (but i think actual card is 128mb)
OS - Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit)

Someone please help really want to play this.

Hi guys,

I bought Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 for PC, and while the multiplayer version of the game works fine, the single player campaign mode crashes within 3-4 minutes of play. I used to be able to play for around half an hour to a full hour before the crash, but now as i said its 3-4 minutes of normal play.
I've done the "material detection" and it says all is ok with green ticks everywhere.

I've noticed the following error report:

Crash in application version: 30553.2792

Could not load geometry because IDiredct3D9::CreateVertexBuffer failed.
This device does not support the queried technique.

This happens SO regularly that I can't even play the single player mode and as you can imagine its really frustrating! Can anyone help? My email address is kam_juve@hotmail.com

Gamer Version - I'm not sure, but I downloaded the latest patch as of 18th August 2007.
Your operating system - MS Windows XP Home Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
Motherboard make and model - ? how do I check?
CPU make and Model - Intel Centrino Core Duo..?
GPU Make and model - Nvidia GeForce Go 7600
Sound Card make and Model - ?
Power Supply Make and Model - ? It's a toshiba sattelite laptop if that helps.
System Driver versions complete - ?
AntiVirus Programme - AVG Free
Anti Spyware Programme - None
DVD/CD Copy Software - Nero

Error ONLY occurs in single player campaign mode, NOT multiplayer mode.

When using handgranades on mission 2 - Recon in force - single player, they don't kill when standing on higher og lower ground than the target. Could hit the enemy without doing damage at all.

all drivers up to date also directx latest version and ageia

when starting the first mission (hapens in multiplayer 2) i get a sec that i can see the chopper then the screen turns black and i get the following errors

those threaded messages i got once

now when the screen turns black and i alt tab to windows i get a warning that my vga wasnt working properly
nvlddmkm

for a full report of dxdiag plz ask not posying here because its huge Razz

Problem: I have similar error happening VERY VERY VERY frequently. It usually takes 5-10 attempts to finish one stage (one checkpoint)

Playing coop, a player can respawn while the list of players in the left menu still shows them gone. This occurred on the first 3 campaign maps. Not sure about after that.

I kind of like this game, however it is unplayable on a obviously over the top system, I guess I will go and play Bioshock which runs beautifuuly with everything set on high with resolution at 2560 x 1600 widescreen.

MOBO: EVGA NFORCE 680I
CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Quad Core @3200
RAM: Corsair TWIN2X 2048-9136C5D Dominator

Hi ColinCJ,
Thanks for the quick reply, I have used the Wholly Qualified drivers and the game still crashed, so I installed the beta drivers hoping to see a improvement. I wish UBISOFT would fix the crash problems. I know you said they are looking into it, but this problem has existed for a while. When I first started playing the game it was fine through Act 1 it started to crash a the beginning of Act 2.
