I still have the same problems trying to connect online. Everytime i do, I rarely enter a server. And when I do, i get cut after 3 mins with a connection error. I have switched from WiFi to LAN and my firewall allows it to use internet. So I'm guessing it is the port fowarding left. How do I do it though?

I don't know what firewall you're using, but here's a tutorial from Microsoft on how to add a program to your Windows firewall. You might to do this>>http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/security/winfirewall.mspx

You shouldn't need to port forward unless you are hosting a game.

To do it, you will have to go into your routers config menu, (usually by typing http://192.168.0.1 into you internet browser).

And then learn hoew to config your router. (each one has it's own config menu).

Find out the ports GR needs from the faq and port forward them to the LAN ip address of your hosting computer.

If you have a upnp enabled router enable it, and it will likely port forward automatically with you manually configging it, which may involve you setting up a static IP address for you LAN computer. (manually assigning an IP address in your network properties).

This is a prize pain in the bum to learn and absolutely unneccessary unless you are intending to host a game online.
