Yo. I just got GRAW 2 for PC. Is there an icon for it? because there is not one on my computer. The initialization window appears when i put in the cd, and that is it. help?
Explore your computer and drill down to the folder that the game is installed in. In it, you will find the icon and the .exe for the game. Right click on the .exe and from the context menu, select from the Send To list, the desktop and click it. The shortcut will be placed on your desktop and you can start the game from there.
There is also the Start Menu option of finding and starting the game too.

For the first part of this post, i did not really get. I was just fidling around for a bit. I un-installed it & re-installed it to see if i missed the "Create a desktop icon" message. I did not. There wasn't one. Do you think you could break down that 1st paragraph on how to do it? I am sorry if i am asking too much.
I take it you're running on Vista...I noticed also that Vista doesn't have the option of "send shortcut to desktop". You will have to do this manually. Go to c:\program files\UBISOFT\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and right-click on the graw2.exe file. Choose "Create Shortcut". It will create the shortcut in that same folder. Now just cut and paste the shortcut onto your desktop. That should be as detailed an explanation as needed
I don't have the game installed at the moment, but try this: Go to My Computer Doubleclick on C: and then Programs, UBI, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and you should be close...
