I would like to know if there is a way to control which weapons your squad mates use. If I switch to Recon mode, and I have a soldier with a light machine gun and a silenced MP5, he will grab the MP5. But if I then change to Assault mode again, he won't switch back to his machine gun.

As far as I can remember they should switch back.

Try this do the switch and move the offending AI when he stops see if the weapon is changed.

We are waiting on a patch to fix some issues not sure if this is one though.
Have not seen it posted before.

I've had this on occasion, just not all the time. Plus it's usually more of a delay in swapping weapons rather than them not doing it at all.

Yep, bug for sure, not all the time but still a bug. It usually happens in a hot zone and you get a little miffed but hey... Grin/Ubi are all for making fun games, right? Imagine how bored you would be if the AI did what is supposed to do all the time?

Rinse and Repeat givinf them the command (Recon to Assault)is the only way to make it work, just pray that you can Rinse fast enough before he gets washed out! Get it? wash... ahh C'mon, that's funny right there!
