I did alittle research but only came up with tweaks that would give you less sound but better FPS. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Oh...Deacon....hows your leg feeling?

yeah, uhm but my pc beeing so good besides the graphic card, it has so far kept lag down, its not that laggy, but yes, i do receive some minimum lag now and then, not always however, it actually runs pretty smoot, lol but the graphics could be same as xbox360 lol that be nice.....er.

wait i see people talking about having 2 nvidia or ati card, how u do that? you can have say 2x xbox360 graphic cards in ur pc??? or say 2 nvidia 7900 series cards? in other words u can install more that just one graphic card? is there another graphic card slot in my thing, where i could add a second graphics card?

sry to say but its been a while since ive replied to a newb comment like that. its alright buddy, your just behind on tech a bit. no worries. let panda bring you back to speed.

there is a tech called SLI developed by Nvidia. You will need a special type of motherboard that can be found at many places now since this is year olds technology. that motherboard will have a special northbridge and 2 graphics ports that can handel 2 graphics cards working together. quite remarkeble. ATI also has this technology but in a different way. Its called Crossfire. instead of letting the motherboard do most of the info travelling, it makes a special type of video card that does it for you. the technology is complex yet more raw than SLI. it still requires you to have a Crossfire compatible motherboard though. there, that should cover most things.

PS: you can not break apart your 360 and put the graphics card in your PC so PLEASE dont try.

I do not know if you were answered dax_inside.

Your on 25-30 and by UPPING the settings wont improve it lol. As the (2nd? 3rd) post states, which explains that more ram is needed, it clearly shows (to even a pc rookie) that it uses more.

I got 25-30fps when everything was true

AMD ATHLON 64X2 4200+ 2.20GHZ
Ati Motherboard
Ati 1800gto
2gb ram.

Thought i had the latest drivers but appears not.
Updated CatCC from 6.6 to 6.8 and seems
to have done the trick.
Thanks for the reply anyway panda.

Hi All.

My Rig:

OS: Vista 64 Home Premium
CPU: AMD 64X2 6000+
RAM: 4GB
GPU: 8600GT

Now I tried the xml tweak but I noticed no difference in FPS at all, the game still ran about 28-30 FPS in most situations (dropping slightly in combat).

Heres my xml. Have I done this right? And how come my FPS is so low when my computer is obviously way overpowered for this game?

Any ideas?

Cheers
