I don't wanna whine to much here, but seeing as how the 360 folks are getting 5 new coop maps, and 4 new adversial maps, don't UBI think it's about time to release the 1.06 patch, and if there's no new content in it, make grin working on some new right away ?!

I would ask does a pc gamer get the same perks as a console gamer,?? it is very obvious we dont.

I sure as (you know what) would like to have the option to do so!
There are actually quite a few of us that would spend allot of hours in graw2 if there was some new content, for me the game is not dead, and if I would have to buy a expansion pack, or pay to download new maps I would, at least if 1.06 would magically appear

I expect any new content will be included within the patch, the patch has been in the works some 3-4 months the release is not final but expected, new content after this I really dont know, my own thought is I doubt it.

I know a lot of work has been done on the patch to the extent that I will reinstall the game.

I am looking forward to whats inside.

As far as updates and add ons go I really think as a pc gamer we are not at the top of the pile any more, consoles earn far too much money for this to change in the near future.

There simply not enough of us to make it profitable.

Is it worth it for a Lowly Single Player gamer to undust the game with this new patch? I would if they have worked on some of the bugs like the AI and such but, alas... I doubt it!

If I'm not mistaken, Ubi & GRIN have cut ties, Ubi returning to RSE for any future cross-platform GR work, and Grin dumping the Diesel for Bionic Commando. The patch-work that has been/being done (?) by the skeleton crew will more than likely revolve around the most common MP complaints, and as for any new content- short of existing map conversions- well thats highly unlikely.
Don't get your hopes up, diminished expectations is the rule of thumb here...if a patch is released, that in and of itself could be considered as bonus content.

As far as a new game dont hold your breath.

I have a feeling we wont get another GR game for a long time, maybe not even then.

Really sad what's happening to PC gaming. Not much we can do either. Be sad to have the GRAW series come to an end on PC. But as Colin mentioned, consoles are where it's at as far as profits so that's where they'll direct all the attention.

There's got to be a way out for sure, consoles can only go so far with their hardware celings and when PC hardware companies see that they are loosing money on video cards, CPU's, Mobos etc, etc, they will find or force a way for the companies to make PC games.

Are we going to see another GR game for PC? I doubt it but you can't tell me that UBI is the only Co that can come up with a good tactical PC shooter.

Change is hard when you are an old dog but even those old dogs learn to live or cope with it when a new bone comes along.

As soon as the small game studios see the big niche that UBI left with GR & R6 series because of their greediness (sp?) for a wider market, aka shooters and NOT tactical shooters, they will make those games as they will know they can sell them all.

Those small studios are the ones I am going to give my money too, even if is just to help them grow. I rather that than fill the wallets of shoddy Co's like UBI

Firstly as I am sure some of you already know the content now available on the 360 is paid for content NOT free, just wanted to clear that up in case anyone thought otherwise.

I will look into whether there are any plans to release more content, patch or actual game content to the PC version and let you know what i can find out

In the PC world they are called expansion packs that we PAID for. The first 3 Rainbow Six's had them (7 total I believe) and the first Ghost Recon (2, DS and IT) had them. Only one we didn't have to pay for was the 2nd expansion for Ravenshield called Iron Wrath.

Title for title PC games were twice as profitable as Console games in the U.S. last year.
Excluding online downloads, PC games made up 14% of the total video games sales, but brought in 29% of the revenue.
Outside the U.S. this proportion was larger.

There won't be any expansions for GRAW for PC, because it didn't sell enough to warrant any, unlike on the Xbox 360 where it sold well.

Just My opinion,
I began to lose trust when they strung us along for ever and then droppped GR2 for pc. Then with GRAW it took 6 months to get it to where it is now, still glitchy, other than rumors I haven't seen one press release from the makers of another patch. If AW2 was fixed or aleast if ubi did not treat us like mushrooms. I would have bought any expanions like Desert Seige & Island Thunder. But they have lost my trust as well as my team's. None of our $ will they get till UBI builds our trust in them.
