After I select a "unit" and click the center mouse button and get the Cross-Comm Menu, I only get the Move, Attack, Cover that, Stop, Cancel, Go recon or Go assault selections. The USE selection doesn't show up. I'm playing the single user version GR Advanced Warfighter PC version. I need some help....

Explain what you are doing or why you want to use the USE button? I don't think there is one inside the cross-com options but I haven't played the game in a long, long time

From what I remember the use option only shows up when you select a unit and point your cross hair at a usable object like a gun turret, jeep, or the helicopter.

The instruction above will work as posted for :AW2...but not in :AW, which did not have the code for the Cross-Coms' "Use" order function enabled.

I want to select one of my unit members that is armed with missile in order to shoot down a heli. I know how to assign weapons to each unit member, but I don't know how to get them to switch from weapon to weapon.

Make sure you all are in ASSAULT mode when attempting this. Select you teammember, Point at the Helo you want to shot down and when the pointer is red, get on the cross-com and click on ATTACK, this is your USE button.

Now, be prepared to do this a few times or get lucky and hit the helo on your first try. This was a major glitch on AW2 and I don't know if they fixed that on any of the latter patches... I was getting old and wrinkle so I decided to finish the game w/o the patches.
