No Error log, that i know of. I'm unsure where to find it, if one exists.

I double clicked on the Desktop icon.
The copy protection software checks the DVD.
The GRAW splash screen shows.
Then my screen goes black, like the game's loading.
Then, it CTDs.

I never used to have this problem on my old AMD 3500+ single core proc. =(

I Checked out/tried all the things in the link, ecxept for DLing and installing the 1.35 patch.
The download stopped and said it was done when it was actually about 1/3 of the way complete. I've been having that problem lately.

Any more helpful Tips?

No the game will need patched.
If you already have system problems then I would sort out that before installing new game.
