No... But keep Grin ffs, they are great developers (actually use their own graphics engine wich i like) and i know they can deliver.
Give them time and let them make us a good game, not the PC version of the advanced HALO fighter console thing UBI came up with.. Crosscom.. de-activated |

NO more GR Advanced Warfighter from GRIN. Sorry guys. too many problems, Not enough Vision to what makes a multiplayer game successful. GRIN is delivering what we are looking for. They have had 2 chances. I think thats enough.
On the other hand... I would like to see a New Ghost Recon title(NOT Advanced warfighter). Made by a new developer. Sorry GRIN. Im sure you will have many more successes else where. |

I am interested. the problems that I read about do scare me. I mentioned be4 that I am new at MP. first MultiPlay for me is graw2, then tried graw(1)MP too ofcourse. I have SinglePlayed GR, Desert, Island, graw and graw2. (I don't really like fighting strange creatures). Ofcourse graw3 will have my interest.. but maybe -like movies- part1, part2 etc.. it will get worse.

Yes to GRAW3. Devs need to include random spawns, however. All that running in co-op is ridiculous! There's a map mod out there that does this, so I know it's possible. You should be able to spawn back with your squad instead of clear across the map.

Not unless the next patch is AWESOME.
And we all know that won't happen... This message has been edited. Last edited by: AJRobson, |

Not really, UBI needs to focus on Console Arcade Kiddy shooters and leave the Tactical Gaming community alone.
I wish Red Storm would just seperate and come back as their own company. I'm sure my prayers will be answered by BlackFoot Studios. Lets just hope EA or Activison Blizzard doesn't buy them out first. |

Unless EA Activision or Blizzard buy them out soon, they won't be making anything.
99% of all Indie's make vaporware. If they can't sell it, they can't finish it. |

NO. I won't buy anything at all else with UbiSoft's name on it, thanks to the GR failures. And the R6 Letdown/Vegas 1-2 punch. And the forthcoming emasculation of Sam Fisher.
I don't think this poll accurately reflects my reasoning here. I don't blame the developer. Had they been given more opportunity to make an effort to fix it, at least GRAW2 might be salvaged. UBI's apparently had a tough time with that. Let's talk about what's SPECIFICALLY Ubisoft's fault here in the failure of the GR franchise. You've got the cheap ,cheesy cinematics on 'NARCOM.' Someone from Walt Disney productions must have designed the uniforms and all. It clearly wasn't anyone who knew anything about the US Armed Forces. The ANNOYING constant chatter by AI teammates in SP, again recorded by Ubisoft. In Los Angeles, I believe. The insistence on 'hero' character SCott Mitchell, rather than the successful approach of the original game to de-emphasize individuals and emphasize the team. GRAW was even worse, so it can at least be said that GRAW2 was a step in the right direction. A baby step down a very long highway, but mostly positive anyhow. Multiplayer kits notwithstanding. Those were SO poorly chosen. But in GRAW we couldn't even get our story straight. Was Ramirez an SFC or CPT? I got told BOTH in the same mission. NO, no other Ubisoft product will ever find it's way into my collection. NEVER AGAIN. Hell, I didn't even pay for GRAW2. Despite my disappointment in the demo, a friend insisted on giving me GRAW2. Ubi hasn't made a penny off of me since I pre-ordered GRAW a year and a half ago. And they'll NEVER get another. |

I liked graw 1 & 2 but I would like to see GR go back a bit and instead be about how the GR unit formed. Lose the cross com stuff, lose the on screen cross hair, No ammo count, gore, wider fov,
iron sights, hand signals and weather effects like wind, rain and snow. S L E E P E R 7 0 7 |

Both wings of GR and GRAW would make money for UBI if they were willing to do so. I mean, port the GRAW 3 game from the Xbox360 so people who like it now will buy it and then, re-make GR with the new high tech graphics and next gen AI for the PC tactical nuts and they will also buy it... everyone is happy.
Ahhhh who am I kidding with this, this path is to logical for UBI to follow! ---------------- 0 ----------------- 0------------- What does it take to get a simeple answer from UBI about the PC? GRAW I & II, Vegas 1 & 2 were throwned to the Lion's den and now FC2 is going to suffer the same fate? How Proud are you UBI? |

EXACTLY, not to mention same old excuses when consumers complain about the obvious problems with the game. In fact I was a bit surprised to see Colin vote no as his last response to me had a lot of implications that he was thinking the poor performance of the game were a result of my hardware and/or lack of PC knowledge. Anyone can see by the voting results and the responses in this thread that Grin let a lot of people down in the way they made GRAW 1&2. The only reason some were intrigued enough to buy it was the past success of the series and potential these titles had. Grin squandered that potential on poorly optimized and scripted games though. Thus I will not buy their titles anymore unless I see evidence of marked improvement in their developing. They're lucky many haven't unconditionally chosen to boycott ALL of their titles after GRAW 1&2. As Grin now exists the name "Grin And Bear It" would be more apropo. Neither GRAW nor GRAW 2 are anything for them to smuggly brag about, which is obviously what they did in the interviews while talking up the games. Is Ubi really partly to blame here, perhaps, I used to think so, but not as much anymore. Ubi has experience making big titles like SC and now Far Cry 2 under construction. I am willing to bet they were less than impressed with the poor performance of GRAW 1&2 knowing it's engine was not very well optimized. Yes they went out on a limb a bit by not allowing more patch time, but the problem is in the engine itself. You can't easily patch an engine that wasn't made right in the first place. Grin let them and us down there. Grin are amatures not pros because they only care about the eye candy without optimizing it. Ubi went on with the release and restricted patch time probably because they knew it would still have a cult following among high spec gamers in it's existing condidtion. I would be very surprised if Ubi continues on with Grin in any respect, they simply haven't earned big money partnership. Not that Ubi is perfect at the publishing end. If it weren't for Far Cry 2 many would still be thinking they totally abandoned the PC community. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Six_Gun, |

Unsure. At present its cheesy script and bubblegum shootouts are pathetic.Gone from great to a superhero kids game that is sterile.
