A little strange I know but I'm in the middle of a huge bet between two friends, one says Sam has a tattoo that he has seen in game but doesn't know what it is, my other friend says he's full of ****.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I call BS. I don't recall seeing any tats on Sam in any of the cutscenes in any of the games. Think back to the prison & Cozumel missions where he's wearing sleeveless tops, and he has nothing on his shoulders or arms. The only 'topless' shot of him is when he's getting blasted with the water hose in the prison, and he's got no tats on his torso.

Ubisoft has never officially said that Sam has a tattoo that I know of, but in this promo image from DA, you can see a tattoo on his right arm near his elbow.



It's prolly one of those things we will never see again.

It's not in any of the gameplay Sam models though. You can see he doesn't have a tat on his arm in the 360's Prison & Cozumel when he's wearing sleeveless tops. Maybe an oversight or the devs just ended up deciding to put a tat on him.

On the 360's Cozumel for example though, he's tat-less:



My bet is that your "pro-tat" friend has the old gen & your "no-tat" friend has the PC or 360 version. That would definitely explain their difference of opinion.

Hrm it is hard to tell either way but in the pics posted it does seem like he has a very faint tattoo on his right arm...

Of course it is. As I said, no one has studied the physique of Sam Fisher more than a Fisherist.

Who cares about tats (He obviously doesn't have any), what about his colored lenses?

Yes, his lensens. In all SC games he had GREEN eyes, while the promotial banner of SC:C at SplinterCell.com clearly shows he now has brown eyes.

Just a very very VERY STUPID mistake, or part of some bigger plot?
