Hello everybody.
Recently started replaying SC1 over again on the 360. I would like to update the game to include the 3 additional 'side' missions and when I goto 'Download content' I get a message saying: "Splinter Cell has encountered a problem and needs to close." Then the game quits and takes me back to my Xbox Live account. Are these 3 missions no longer available over Xbox 360 Live? |

Are you by any chance running the 360 on a VGA cable?(connected to an LCD or CRT PC monitor)
Original Xbox games(Halo 2, SC, et cetera) have problems with getting DLC when hooked up that way. I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come Originally registered July 17, 2002 |

I've had two different problems related to the downloads.
1. Transferred to a new hard drive and I couldn't load the levels or start from a save. Had to delete the maps and re-download them. 2. Got an error when I went to the downloads section. A. Had to exit to the dashboard and sign off, load the game (while logged off) and go to the downloads section. B. Select my Live profile to log on, got an update, back to the main menu and downloads again. C. Select the maps and then I was able to d/l and use them. |

I'm using a wireless connection for Xbox Live..
Warrior: I also tried what you did but I keep getting an error and it re-routes me back to my dashboard. My thoughts are these missions are no longer available over a 360 live account so I'll just have to make do with the existing game. IMHO, I'd like to see Microsoft to fully support ALL Xbox originals. |

I downloaded them as I was posting the previous message.
I used my Xbox 360 Live Gold account and it worked exactly as I stated, so they ARE available. Perhaps it's an issue with your wireless setup, OR you have a silver account, OR you may have NAT problems. Have you tried connecting via a cable to your router/modem? |
