Hey Folks,

I am playing through the very first level on hard difficulty and I am having problem in the "Transformer Station" area.

I have knocked every guard unconcious and placed them all in a dark room, I have alerted nobody to my presence thus far. It appears that I must enter the main Geothermal Plant through a broken fan, however when I crawl through this hole I seem to alert guards and my NSA ranking drops.

How do I enter the plant without alerting the guards to my presence?

From your description, you are playing the 360 version of SCDA.

The most likely reason for your problem is that a body is being found. Somewhere you have left one in a 'discoverable' location.

Second most likely is that you have been 'tagged' by the scanning floodlight or the guard below you as you head across to the fan area.

Also, no matter what you do, your 'teammate' John is caught and killed just as you move through the fan - but that shouldn't affect your mission trust or ratings in any way and you can just continue on.

If you're talking about your final mission ratings (ID'd once), there's a trick section where you either open the gate and move through a section with two guards or cut a wire and climb the fence. If either of these 'super sensitive' guards turn red on your radar or OPSAT - you've been ID'd. Following is a walkthrough that will often get you past them without detection:

Cut the wire to climb over the fence, save the game because this is the hardest part in the mission. The guards here are very sensitive to sound and motion, so you MUST move QUIETLY. Anyway - after you save, climb over the fence and wait for the point where the spotlight is scanning away from you then head to the second (I think) row of hardware. Use the 'back to the wall' move against the end of it and wait for the first guard to pass by you. Move quietly behind him to the left towards the ladder and the second guard, keeping to the right side - timing is critical here due to the spotlight. Check your opsat/radar and observe that the yellow dots representing the two guards haven't turned red. If either are red, start over again.

(Normal difficulty) Wait on the right side of the aisle until the second guard is on the way from right to left. When the second guard passes by you, move to the ladder. Once you've reached it, stay on it. Yes that's right. Stay on it and make sure that the yellow dots don't turn red. If you did everything correctly, the guard won't notice your presence on the ladder. Wait there until the second guard goes from left to right, passing by you. That is the moment where you climb the ladder and continue towards the silo ladder.

(Hard difficulty) Instead of waiting on the right side of the aisle, wait on the left until the second guard goes from left to right then slip behind him and very quietly move up the ladder to the silo ladder. NOTE: There are actually two cycles here, one where the second guard moves left to right while the first guard has his back to you, and one where the first is facing you. It's important to only go for the ladder when the first has his back to you!

Check your opsat/radar and if the guards are not red then you're in the clear to climb on top and jump to the zipline.

Thanks for your help.

I will assume that the dark control room that all the guards are laying unconcious inside is NOT a safe place and I shall move them elsewhere.

I think I actually got past those guards. And yes they were super sensitive. after much reloading I managed to knock out both.
