So I went to GameStop and sold Double Agent, and just as I predicted, I got a pathetic three bucks out of it. But what can I say, pathetic game, pathetic price.
An' then, an' then, guess what? I found a used copy of Chaos Theory for guess what price? Three bucks! A total steal, I get the world's very best game for the gaming industry's very lowest price. So I've been up all day and night playing it for the last two days, and wow, great memories. Already beat it on expert. And after playing through Chaos Theory again, my "convictions" of ConViction have never been stronger that it's not the same game. ConViction is a world away from what Splinter Cell should be at this point... There's no way you can play any level of Chaos Theory and say that ConViction looks, feels, or even smells the same as Chaos Theory. No, it's a world away. And to all the people who like to say "we got tired of the old style, we want something new," well what the bloody heck? I'm okay for a little change, but this is a whole different game. If you want a style so new, why not just play a different game, instead of tell us to play the old games? |

Better question would be "Who doesn't"?
______________________ What you read in my posts and what I am trying to tell you. One might not be the other, while the other might nog be one. Please disagree, I love a healthy debate. I don't hate you. I don't know you. I don't want you. I don't exist. Do you? The shadows are the best place to hide. Even the sun can't spot you there. What do you think about the information and communication of Ubisoft? |

Sorry to hijack the thread
I am a recent Splinter cell PC Gamer I kept away from it since it was third person and it seemed to come out on console first . After getting it (SC CT) bundled under the Thats hot brand for 14 bucks I was suprised but just like GRAW1/GRAW2 R6 Lockdown/Vegas1/Vegas2 it could do with a bit of a polish and small amount of things added . Was Splinter cell always limited to 4 players only ? Spy vs Merc mode is fun and it seems it would be the IDEAL game for MORE players , say 8 to 12 players Is any of the SC games on the PC actually have PROPER coop mode eg SC CT that I played the first level single player had a light house at the end and it started on a beach. After looking at the Multiplayer menu this level is not available . Also MP and SP keys are totaly different WTF , anyone else besides me and a few of mates annoyed that you have to reconfigure the keys TWICE SC seems to be a game that since its SLOWER paced it would be an ideal for cross platform play , we have several pcs here and a PS2 , it would be great if i could put guests on the PS2 and allow them to join the PC games |

8 to 12 players. Dont think it would work though too many people. In my opinion the biggest number I would like is 6 people.

2v2 is good, but depending on a game, 3v3 could work too. Remember that the less players, the spies have more advantage because of players are more spread around the map. And if we had too many players in a game then each merc would just camp at one objective and spies would have no chances unless they got rid of mercs. + having more players just takes away the strategy. It's easier to coordinate with one person rather than with 5

@ERN456 and jasiek: this question is not to be annoying you or something, I'm just curious of your opinion:
What would you think about a co-op version of the first SC-mission... maybe 2-4 SC's doing that one... Make it so every NPC we "met" there is now Human-Controlled... make the spies be strong, but outnumbered to the extreme. that way a 24 or even 32-player match could get interesting. imo: Even teams, then no, forced unbalanced, then maybe |

I don't have the original, unfournately, although I did play it, and I tend to play Chaos Theory a lot and PT a bit.

I would rather like coop with 2 spies. To me your suggestion sounds crazy and besides with UBIs lousiness with lagg I bet the game would be very laggy. Almost all of UBIs games are laggy. |

I played all of them (Not in order..But who cares). I still think SC1 was a pain to try and go back to playing, but it was good for what it was. And yea, SCCT was my favorite.

I'd have to say chaos theory is my fav. I have all of them on PC but, my brother and i recently built a new pc for myself and SC1 and 2 will not get passed the load screen. some kind of graphics card problem. DA looks ridiculous though and I've never seen CT look the way it does on my PC now. Its always fun to tweak things and then put older games back on your PC to see them like you never did when they first came out.
