In the Splinter Cell Games, do you find any of the tracks disturbing? Not in a bad way.

No, not really for me, but I'm sure there are some people who probably got the jitters when they were playing Splinter Cell at two in the morning, in the dark, and the alert music started playing.

Why do you ask?

The music that plays when a guard gets suspicious and starts looking around the place.

Are you talking about on Double Agent Old Gen? Whenever a guard gets suspicous you hear a brief, and creepy sound. is that what you are talking about?

No, the first game's alert music.

I've never played Montreal's Double Agent.

But anyway, what's this all about?

Are you just curious about it or are you thinking up a storm for something here?

No...not really. The music isn't that disturbing. The only thing that bothers me in some music in DA, when anything bad happens, some music starts and it makes it harder to focus on what I need to do...or freaks me out sometimes when I'm on a hard level.

Sam Fisher awaits...

I have the PS2 Version, But i've seen gameplay videos of the 360, and when the guards get edgy a loud stinger plays. It's creepy. I Remember on PS2 i had a hard time on the Okhotsk level because of the music. It was still good, though.

The "Dunnnn" sound is quite creepy, but i'm talking about this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BTMRjQMgmI

Listen to the sounds from 12-20 and 21-26 and you'll know what i'm talking about. And does anyone know a site where i could hear the "Dunnnn" sound besides playing the game?

Me too its my favorite track and to me its the SC theme and there is no other theme just this one. The other music is cool but this one is by far the best track.

I do find this confusing....as I have never noticed any music in Splinter Cell appart from the dunnnnn and the action music that plays on the PS2 during action on Co-Op. Maybe I get too imersed in the game and only my brother next to me talking while we are playing co-op can keep me out of it.....

I suppose it would be those 'stingers' in the next-gen version of DA, you know, the ones that come up when an enemy suspects something, I like it because it has a 'crisis barely averted' tone to it.
