In 2002, I bought SC SAR for XBOX, but it got stolen from me, so I bought a used copy for like $2. In this game I am unable to break necks and was wondering why? I know you could in my previous version, so do I unlock it?

(Apologies (sp) if this is a repeated post) I tried the "find" tool, but it took me to a post about kids playing SvM in their house, and some other post)

You can't break necks in SC1. The "breaking neck" feature appeared in Chaos Theory and it can only be done when you're hanging from a pipe.

Maybe you are right, its been a while since I've played the Splinter Cell games so my memory of these games all run together. Maybe I might be thinking of sliting people's necks with the knife.

Pretty much all you did in close quarters in the first SC was elbow them, or pistol whip them if you were holding them. Same goes with Pandora Tomorrow, the 2nd one. The advanced CQC goodies made their debut in the aforementioned Chaos Theory.
