Hey everyone,
I checked around these forums to see if this question has been answered before and couldn't find anything--so I hope I'm not accidentally wasting space! Anyways, I'm playing my Xbox copy of SCCT on my 360. I'm trying to download the two "new" co-op maps, but when I go to the Xbox Live section in the co-op menu and try to login I'm told that "Your Xbox console cannot connect to Xbox Live". This isn't the case as when I'm in my 360 dashboard, or playing a 360 game my Live works perfectly fine. Any ideas how I can get around this? I'd really like to play the new co-op maps. Also, I did manage to log in once to install a console update. After that I haven't been able to log into any Xbox Live menu in the game. Thanks so much in advance! |

There sometimes seems to be a problem with DLC while logged in to Live. I know, sounds lame but what you need to try is to go to the dashboard, log out of your Live account, load the game and then try going to the co-op/xbox live/download menu. At some point it will ask you to log in to Live, but should work this time, allowing you to d/l the maps. I always get a 'connect your controller' prompt as well, minor issue.
You can also d/l the co-op maps via the solo/xbox live/download section as well. I think the problem stems from the fact that you're already logged in and when SCCT attempts to log in it can't access the login program (it sees it as 'in use'). Just an FYI, next time instead of double posting, select the edit icon on your original post. Double posting is frowned upon. |

Hey, thanks for the quick reply!
I actually already tried logging out and then logging back in. Trying to access the co-op maps in Solo Mode doesn't work either. I'm going to try and clear my CT saves from my hard drive and see if that fixes it. |

Yeah, that didn't work either. I'm not sure what to do at this point...

I hope you mean by "logging back in" that you didn't log back in before launching SCCT. When there's a problem you have to NOT log in until the game itself (the downloader application) asks you to. |

I definitely made sure I was totally logged out before I started the game. In the top portion of the SCCT main menu it says "Sign-in failed", indicating I wasn't logged in. Any ideas?

Did you get the same error?
There's only two other things I can think of. First, when you run a network test, how is your NAT listed as. It should be open, not closed or partial for it to work. Second, you may need to clear the cache for the drive, but this is an extreme action, removing all game updates and some patches, so you'll end up re-loading some items. If you want to do that I can tell you how. Another question, when you deleted the game saves, did you delete everything SCCT related or just the saves? You would need to delete it all (profiles, saves, content) to be certain that something wasn't corrupted. |
