Hi ! I would like to know which of the following is the best (the one you prefer most ) on ps2 : Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent
Chaos Theory was the best by miles... Not that Pandora Tommorow and Splinter Cell 1 were bad, Chaos Theory was sickening good.. And then there was Double Agent, that was just a disappointment, i bought it for PS3 and the graphics were somehow worse than CT on Xbox(1), the game ran pretty slow and it just wasnt a good game period.

You know, I'm not sure. I like them all, but I'd have to say that the plot twist in Chaos Theroy, (which I can't say 'casue I don't wanna spoil the ending for people who have not played), but for people who have played the Japanese Bath House level, you'll know what I mean. I mean, wow. Who would have thought it?
"Never harbour hate towards your victems, Altair. Such thoughts are poison and will cloud your judgment" Al Mualim to Altair.
Chaos Theory all the ****ing way. The single players are good on all, possibly best on DA with a couple of new features and nice enough graphics. However, CT is the most mind-blowing online multiplayer I have ever played and it is not getting tiresome atal. I know it's built on PT, but there are a few key improvements.
Yeah, kind of new at the forums too - I've been playing Splinter Cell for a long time now, though - and they were all great games, different, but great anyway.
So, in my opinion, the best Splinter Cell has to be Double Agent. The action is a lot more complex, more puzzles, also having to play without the usual stealth gadjets in many levels - it just puts the general dynamic of the whole game at unprecedented standards - but that is not to say that it is the best for me.
And it isn't, my favorite is still Chaos Theory - basically because it was (still) all about stealth - on the contrary to Double Agent wich had several levels where the action was much more abrupt and assault-like. Splinter Cell is all about stealth in my opinion, and in that spirit, Chaos Theory is by far the best.
i wud deffo say chaos theory. then double agent then pandora tommorrow. i cant say anything about sc1 because ... i havnt played it. (please dnt hurt me lol) but yeah chaos theory is top of the class. double agent is good but i didnt find it much of a chalange and i found the game really short. by the way, chaos theory and double agent are best on the 360, since chaos theory is backwards compatible. and the good thing is you can pick up a copy of chaos theory (pre owned) for only like, £3. but hurry cuz not many places sell old xbox or ps2 games anymore. ~hope i helped~
I have found a lot of people on the forums that play the ps2 versions of splinter cell. I always figured that the majority would play them on xbox since they always seemed to be better visually. No disrespect to the ps2. If i had to rank them though. Chaos theory, Splinter cell, Double agent for the xbox 1 AND OR PS2, and Pandora tomorrow. Pandora tomorrow has always been my least favorite.
Chaos Theory was the best SC to date. It was the first game where Ubisoft really took hold of the franchise and made it their own. Double Agent wasn't bad. It gave a rural backstory to how the series was going to change, but it didn't necessarily give us all the information the players would have been satisfied with. It didn't give it that extra "" something"" that would give us hard-core SC fans the will to relax before another episode in this great adventure would unfold. So when it comes down to it; Chaos Theory was one of the best in the series by a long shot. Double Agent was the extra push to satisfy gamers before the big climax before the evolvement of Sam was revealed. Which is now Conviction. Conviction is what will give SC fans the excitement, and character emotion it deserves. This franchise is indescribably one of the best ever developed. If Conviction can come-out and be what every player wants, and pushes what the SC series is really about; than it will be a gaming mark in history. It will be one of the greatest games of our time. And with that said, may god be with us as we all rush to the doors of Gamestop and devour ourselves in this immersive world we call home. The world of Splinter Cell.
