hey, I was wondering if anyone knows what the Russian guys say on the Siberia mission of Double Agent. I've heard them say things like:

Shto Eto Bul
Eshtoy dabul
Nichevo
Ya Shtota Tam Veeil

Any help would be appreciated. Smile

Actually they aren't speaking Russian. They are speaking in Azerbaijani!

I'd love to help but currently I can't find any free translators for Azerbaijani, only ones that you have to pay for Nuh uh.

I copied all the lines you posted and went to google's 'language tools' page then pasted the whole thing in the box. I tried the Russian to English but it gave nothing.

Once you've tried one, it gives a 'detect language' option at the top of the drop down list, so I tried that and it said "We are not yet able to translate from Azerbaijani into English.".

The fact that they don't translate it is kind of funny because on the first page that you hit in the 'language tools' there's a selection to display all of it's (google's) interface in Azerbaijani!

quote:
Ya Shtota Tam Veeil

this one is very similar to polish. I think it means "I saw something there."

They're speaking Russian, not Azerbaijani.

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND! - Skajitze privet kmoymu malinkumu drugu

Man down! - Chilavek vnice!

Did you hear that? - Vi slichaly eto?

It's in Russian..

Ya Shtota Tam Veeil:
is actually something like Ya shtota tam vidil and that mean I saw something there.

Nichevo:
Means "Nothing"

Eshtoy dabul:
Dunno what dabul means, you're probably writing it wrong..

Shto Eto Bul:
Means What is.. bul which is a word I don't understand.

I don't think I wrote "Eshtoy Dabul" wrong, but I must've heard it wrong. And another one, how do they say "TAKE THAT, YOU SON OF A B**CH!"? I forgot.

I don't remember them saying any of those either. Maybe the last one.
