My opinon is that DA was way too short and that the best one so far was CT because it had a good story line and long enough missions
I didnt like PT or the original because they all had too many errors and they didnt have as many tactial abilities for Sam |

For single player, Splinter Cell one is unbeatable. For multiplayer, Chaos Theory is so far the best, but hopefully conviction changes that.

I like SC1 the best because you can get through the whole game using only one bullet{not counting training) and killing only one person.It is the most challenging of the series.Next i like Chaos Theory best,then DA and PT.All Xbox only.
I have SC1 for PS2 also but the only thing i like about it is the binoculars. And why is it that in the PS2 version,on the 1st chinese embassy level,all you have is a pistol? on Xbox you have the SC20k and cameras,shockers,ring foils,etc... the whole game on PS2 is bad,i only bought it to compare,and it fails. Chaos theory was tooooooo easy on expert mode. Double agent was easier on Elite mode. Someone stole my Pandora tomorow, so I will never know how it ends....and I completely forgot about the 1st Splinter and what it was like because of the last SC games.=)

Chaos Theory of course!!
But Double agent on XBOX 360 is also very nice So easy how Pandora ends.... Norman Soth will go to the LAX Airport with the ND133 (Smallpox) And you are there of course to stop him! |

I was kind of hoping tha when i found my pandora tomorow I would have gave he dude who stole it, a cell punch to the back of their head.....you saved me from trial..thanks....and ruined it for me. =)

Pandora Tomorrow in my honest opinion.
So if you get shot point blank in the head can you take the bullet out? What if you are near the gasoline explosions and gasoline spills on you and you catch on fire.... would you have enough time to pat yourself out? I expect flaws from this game. |

I'd have to say Double Agent for the Xbox. I'm not finished with the 360 version yet, but the DA on Xbox was the best, I thought.
The gameplay was changed enough to make the missions more than interesting, and it had the best story in the series by far. There was a greater connection between the player and Sam this time around. Making as personal as they did helped. |

Haha I hear ya. Nothing can quite match sneaking up on a completely oblivious opponent for the first time in the revolutionary light system. It's a joke! When you look at me like that, it's a joke. |

Even sneaking up on the first guy you interrogate (28469 code guy) in the training mission. I got such a rush from just that, and I knew I was in for one hell of a game.

hi i think that doubel agent is the best although
it`s short |
||||
|
I don't think it's that short, though. The levels are pretty long, actually. The replay value, for either being a JBA or NSA lapdog to unlock different cinematics and extra seconds on the ending makes up for being a 1 level-less than Chaos Theory. Plus, the ending....the drama happening....was really something that made DA better for me.

without a doubt, the first one. i started them in order this summer (including xbox/360 versions of double agent). although chaos theory's co-op missions are great fun.
oh, how do you get through the saving the hostages part of the first game with only one bullett? that's the part where i start shooting quite a bit. by using the turrets? and the guards don't whistle anymore since pandora. am i the only one who misses that? |
||||
|
Don't they whistle some music in CT too?
I'm going back to play the downloaded levels for SP1 now that I've got Xbox Live. I've heard so much about KOLA CELL...... |
||||
|
I would rate them in this order
SC because Remember that rush you got on your first interrigation? That is like hitting your first home run, or bowlingyour first strike, it's a one-of-a-kind experience that ( no matter how you try) can't be repeated. the only time you get close is in the first game. remember the feelings you felt when you snuck into the goergian defense ministry( I was Happy), or when you snuck into the CIA(it was just like that first interrigation,I was exstatic because I was taking days to try to get a perfect score on it, I base my scoring on 1.how many alerts i hav caused. and 2. how many bodies are found. I got, in my scoring, 89%.) THAT IS WHY I PICK SC AS #1 SC:CT because you can choose multiple paths, and whether you should kill, K.O., or just leave every guard alone. SC: DA this one only beats SC:PT becase of the system link play. once you beat the short ame, go to mulitplayer, then system link and do local play. try to beat all the missions by yourself. you'll spend weeks trying to get past a certain mission. SC:PT I like this one a lot but it gets ind o annoying when i hide dead guards in a pitch black spot and thier bodies ARE STILL FOUND!!!! mking every mission harder.... |
