Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not we'll be able to pick up grenades in HH. It was the one feature I wish that R2H30 and EIB had. We had the ability to pick up the weapons, so why not grenades? There are so many times I come across a dead German with the grenades in plain sight! Seems to me it would be something the normal infantry would have done in WW2. I don't think it would have been hard to figure out how to use them.

Hmmm, I'm not sure whether they would, i don't know though. All depends on whether real soldiers did it or not- authenticity.

It should be sweet, picking up german grenades.

In real war time ww2 battlefields every single soldier was trained and told how to handle any alied or axis weapon that they encounterd,in a combat it was not a rare example to use a axis weapon,I mean Corrion is a weapon specialist and he's trained to handle every weapon you can inmagine, but why is he still using his ''trusty old tommy'' not that its a bad thing at all,but i came in many situation's where a grenade was clearly vissable, but i was not able to pick up the grenade and use it.

seen here the german s-34 stick grenade a.k.a ''the potatoe masher''.

My personell experience with the german grenade is well... great. you're (atleast i am) is capeble of trowing the ''stick'' much further away and hit the enamy,Why-'., you my ask.The german s-34 is designed as a assault weapon and take out the enamy with a explosion not with fragments of hot and lethal metal pieces just like the mk.2 frag grenade whe are useing

seen here; http://www.bigredone.pl/ekwipunek1/IMG_1286.JPG

so if you're capable of picking up the axis weapon besides the rifle's and smg a.w it should be great Big Grin.

During the Second World War, the Germans took four years to build the Atlantic Wall. On four beaches it held up the Allies for about an hour; at Omaha it held up the U.S. for less than one day. The Atlantic Wall must therefore be regarded as one of the greatest blunders in military history.

You see i told you it was a great idea for picking up grenades,it should be great if you're able to switch between them just like the game Farcry instints.

The thing is this game is going for realism and as far realism goes the us military does not train soldiers to throw back grenades. They train them to run or dive away so I rather not have the ability to throw back grenades in this game. It may be more realistic being able to, but at the same time not as authentic.

besides if you were dug in a fox hole...you can't jump out as quick...throwing it out might be your only chance.
